A presentation of a project for a plant for the production of PE pipes was held in Crimea, which will be built in Feodosia over the next two years. The factory complex of Chernomorsky Pipe Plant LLC will produce import-substituting products.
According to the representative of the enterprise, the start of construction is scheduled for 2023. To launch the first stage of the project, 6 high-tech lines for the production of polyethylene pipes will be installed.
The factory complex will be equipped with high-tech equipment. Quality control of products is organized at all stages of production. The design capacity of the enterprise will be about 20,000 tons of finished products per year. The wide range of manufactured products will include, in particular, heat-resistant pipes for protection of cable lines; single-layer and multilayer pipes for gas supply; single-layer and multilayer pipes for domestic and drinking water supply systems; corrugated pipes for non-pressure sewage— reported the Ministry of Industrial Policy of the Republic of Crimea.
It is noted that the construction of a plant complex for the production of PE pipes in Feodosia will give a new impetus to the further development of the industrial complex of the Republic, as government programs are being implemented on the peninsula to build new and upgrade existing treatment facilities, modernize sewerage and water supply systems.
