An initiative group of volunteers in Feodosia installed a concrete ramp at the entrance to the building on Gorky Street, 2. A resident of the house with disabilities turned to volunteers for help with this request a few days ago. According to the man, the city administration redirected him with this question to the management company, which, in turn, can carry out such work only through the financial participation of all residents of the apartment building.

Last week I received a call from a man who had been having difficulty leaving his apartment for a long time due to his disability. His entrance was not equipped with a ramp, which made it impossible for him to leave the house without assistance., says local volunteer Evgeny Ignatiev. – He has repeatedly contacted various authorities with this problem for several years, but at the moment the issue has not been resolved, so we got involved, attracted builders and made a ramp with our own efforts.

During the renovation work, a concrete riser was poured and metal railings were installed. Now the entrance to the entrance is equipped with the necessary means for comfortable, unhindered and convenient access for people with disabilities.
