In Gurzuf, at the dacha of Anton Chekhov and Olga Knipper, an exhibition about the younger brother of the writer was presented

With the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Crimea at the dacha of A.P. Chekhov and O.L. Knipper in Gurzuf presented a new exhibition project «Who is Mikhail Bohemian».
The temporary exhibition tells visitors about the extraordinary personality of Mikhail, the younger brother of Anton Chekhov, who later became his first biographer and the first researcher at the A.P. Chekhov.
The showcases display artifacts from the stock collection of the Crimean Literary and Artistic Memorial Museum-Reserve, which includes the Gurzuf Museum of the Writer. For the first time, the museum showed the public Mikhail Chekhov’s glasses, his writing materials, the book «Essays and Stories», for which he received the Pushkin Prize, as well as rare photographs, memoirs of contemporaries and items that belonged to the Chekhov family— said the Ministry of Culture of the Crimea.
