In January, more than 67 thousand calls were received to the single emergency number “112” in Crimea

The Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea, Sergei Sadakliev, reported that in the period from January 1 to January 31, 2024, 67,519 calls were received to the single emergency number “112”. Of these, 10,173 calls were transferred to the ambulance number “103”, 5912 calls were transferred to the police to “102”, 961 calls were forwarded to the number “101”, 572 calls were transferred to the number “104”, 4300 calls were transferred to the EDDS , consultation — 3424, childish prank — 304, number of calls received by ERA-GLONASS — 116.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea reminds that number 112 can be used to call the following emergency services:

• fire protection;
• police;
• emergency medical services;
• gas network emergency service;
• «Antiterror».

Some examples of situations that should be reported immediately by calling 112. Such situations include:

• fire;
• the smell of gas in the entrance, on the floor or in the apartment;
• traffic accident;
• domestic violence;
• a crime you witnessed;
• public order disturbance;
• urgent medical care.
