In a sushi bar in Kerch, 20 people ordered food and were poisoned, 10 of them children. All have colic, no severe casessaid the agency’s interlocutor.
The prosecutor’s office of the Republic of Crimea told journalists that an investigation had been organized in connection with information received from the territorial department of Rospotrebnadzor about the poisoning of citizens in the city of Kerch.
It has been previously established that local residents came to Kerch Hospital No. 1 named after N.I. Pirogov with suspected poisoning. During the inspection, compliance with the requirements of sanitary and epidemiological legislation during the sale of products will be assessed.
The inspection is also carried out by the State Investigative Directorate of the Russian Investigative Committee for the region.
Last weekend, residents of Kerch ordered food from a sushi bar to their home, after which they felt signs of poisoning and went to medical institutions with identical symptoms. Currently, all citizens are provided with qualified assistance, the results of medical tests are awaited, — the message says.
At the same time, the Ministry of Health of Crimea TASS was unable to comment on the information about the hospitalization of Kerch residents with symptoms of poisoning.
The quality of the food supplied, the availability of medical documentation and work permits for kitchen staff, as well as the legality of catering activities are established. The head of the interregional department of Rospotrebnadzor for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, Natalya Penkovskaya, told TASS that materials have been prepared for the court to suspend the activities of the catering facility.
