The Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation continues to identify the agents of Ukrainian special services involved in sabotage and terrorist activities in the Crimean Peninsula. As a result of events in the city of Kerch of the Republic of Crimea, an agent of Ukrainian special services was detained by a citizen of the Republic of Moldova, born in 1992— quotes RIA Novosti.
As the investigation established, in April 2024, through the Internet, he established cooperation with the representative of the special services of Ukraine, on the instructions of which he collected and transmitted information, including photo and video materials, about the places of deployment of military equipment and the positions of Russian air defense, objects of transport and energy infrastructure of Crimea, as well as the results of the enemy missile strikes, the FSB noted.
After the detention, the man provided a cache coordinates, in which they found a homemade explosive device of a high -explosive action, intended to undermine the water supply station in the city of Kerch.
In relation to the defendant, the Investigative Department of the Federal Security Service of Russia in the Crimea and Sevastopol is investigated by a criminal case of a terrorist act and illegal acquisition, transfer, sale, storage, transportation, explosion of explosives or explosive devices.
