In Kerch, a man was found guilty of committing a crime under Part 1 of Art. 245 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (cruelty to animals).

It was established that in early May of this year the man, while intoxicated, was in the courtyard of an apartment building. Being dissatisfied with the barking of the dog, he struck with a kitchen knife, resulting in the death of the animal,” the prosecutor’s office provided details.

The humane court, taking into account the position of the state prosecutor, sentenced the flayer to 1 year of suspended imprisonment with a probationary period of 2 years. The verdict did not enter into legal force.
