In Kerch, a local resident was caught by police with narcotic “salt” in his hands

Employees of the criminal investigation department of police department No. 1 of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in the city of Kerch received information about the involvement of a 42-year-old local resident in the possession of narcotic drugs.
During operational search activities, police detained a suspect. During an inspection of his home, investigators found and seized five packages with a white powdery substance, packaging devices: electronic scales and a spatula. According to the expert opinion, the presented drug is a derivative of N-methylephedrone with a total mass of more than 2.5 grams— reported the press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Crimea.
Currently, the investigative department of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Kerch has opened a criminal case against the attacker under Part 2 of Art. 228 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Illegal acquisition, storage of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues, committed on a large scale). The sanction of the article provides for a maximum penalty of imprisonment of up to 10 years.
The defendant was chosen as a preventive measure in the form of detention.
