In Kerch, a local resident will go to prison for 11 years for selling amphetamine

In Kerch, the city court issued a verdict in a criminal case against a 36-year-old local resident. He was found guilty under Part 3 of Art. 30, clause “g”, part 4, article 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (attempted illegal sale of psychotropic substances, committed on a large scale), clause “g”, part 4, art. 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (illegal sale of psychotropic substances committed on a large scale).
The court found that a local resident purchased 9 g of the psychotropic substance “amphetamine” from his friend, which he packaged into small doses. He sold part of the prohibited substance to his friend for 6 thousand rubles, and kept the remaining packages at his place of residence for the purpose of further sale to drug addicts. His illegal actions were stopped by police officerssaid law enforcement officers.
The court, taking into account the opinion of the state prosecutor, sentenced the man to 11 years in prison to serve the sentence in a maximum security correctional colony. The verdict did not enter into legal force.
