In Kerch, police identified violators of migration laws

At the stationary traffic police post “Kerch”, employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Kerch, together with a criminal investigation officer, during a check of the documents of the driver and passengers of a regular bus heading to the Krasnodar Territory, established that both the driver and 8 passengers were citizens of Transcaucasia and Central Asia, migration documents are expired.
It was established that the men arrived on the territory of the Russian Federation to carry out unofficial work activities and were in the country illegally. For violation by a foreign citizen of the regime of stay (residence) in the Russian Federation and illegal recruitment of a foreign citizen or stateless person to work in the Russian Federation, 6 bus passengers were brought to administrative responsibility under Art. 18.8 and 18.15 Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation, two more passengers — under Art. 18.15 Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federationsaid the press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Crimea.
In relation to the driver of the vehicle for violation of migration legislation, 6 protocols were drawn up under Art. 18.8, art. 18.9, art. 18.10, Art. 11/18, Art. 18.15 and Art. 18.20 Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation.
All violators face administrative fines, and 6 foreign citizens and the driver, according to current legislation, face fines with expulsion from the Russian Federation.
