In Kerch, police officers stopped the sale of narcotic substances on a large scale

Employees of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Kerch detained a 37-year-old local resident. The man is suspected of selling prohibited substances on a large scale.
While patrolling one of the streets in Kerch, the police noticed a man who had buried something in the ground, after which he took a photograph of the area, got into the car and started driving. Police officers stopped the vehicle. During the conversation, the man was nervous and showed noticeable signs of anxiety.
In the presence of witnesses, police searched the car and the location where the suspect was seen. As a result, law enforcement officers seized 7 black polymer packages. The attacker admitted that he was offered a job on the Internet related to the sale of drugs through bookmarks— said the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea.
According to the expert report, inside the seized polymer packages there was the drug “ecstasy” with a total weight of 8.81 grams (large size!).
The Investigative Department of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Kerch has charged the suspect with committing a crime under Part 3 of Art. 30, part 4 art. 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Preparation for a crime and attempted crime, illegal sale of narcotic substances on a large scale”). The sanction of the article provides for a maximum penalty of imprisonment for a term of up to 20 years. The attacker was chosen as a preventive measure in the form of detention.
