For the first time in Crimea, a labor landing is being carried out, bringing together student brigade workers not only from the Republic of Crimea, but also from the Republic of Tatarstan, Krasnodar and Perm territories, Volgograd, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions to clean, improve and repair monuments. The labor landing takes place within the framework of the Patriotic action “Victory Landing of the Russian North Ossetia”. This year, the Victory Landing includes 630 students and schoolchildren, distributed into 24 student labor detachments. The teams operate in 20 municipalities of the Republic of Crimea. One of the teams, which consists of 27 students from 6 regions of the country, worked in the village of Geroevskoye. The guys named their detachment “Eltigen” in honor of the Eltigen landing, which in the fall of 1943 captured a bridgehead south of Kerch and heroically held it for more than forty days. The main volume of work took place on the memorial complex of the museum complex in the village. Geroevskoye and at the Parus memorial complex dedicated to the Eltigen landing.
The patriotic action “Victory Landing of the Republic of North Ossetia” is a volunteer labor landing aimed at cleaning and improving the territories of monuments and mass graves of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. This year, this important event is timed to coincide with the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Crimea from the Nazi invaders and is a symbol of veneration and respect for the memory of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War.
The commander of the Victory Landing Detachment “Eltigen” Karina Gayanova noted:
This is not only an improvement of the territory, but also our contribution to the preservation of historical heritage. The participation of students from different regions of Russia emphasizes the unity and solidarity of our country in memory of the feat of our ancestors during the Great Patriotic War.
