Employees of the Department for the implementation of the administrative legislation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Kerch as part of measures to combat crime and ensure public security conducted a check of scrap metal reception in the city.
In the course of supervisory and verification measures, the police revealed violations of the requirements of the rules for the treatment of ferrous and waste of ferrous, non -ferrous metals approved by Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of May 28, 2022 No. 980, at several reception points. Police officers took measures to eliminate the identified violations. In relation to officials, 3 administrative materials were drawn up under Art. 14.26 of the Administrative Code — violation of the rules for the treatment of scrap and waste of non -ferrous and ferrous metals and their alienation. The sanction of the article provides for a punishment in the form of an administrative fine of up to five thousand rubles with confiscation of the subjects of an administrative offense or without such,-the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Crimea said.
These measures are aimed at increasing control over the circulation of secondary materials and the prevention of possible crimes related to metal thefts.
Police calls citizens to be vigilant and report any suspicious actions at scrap points.
