In Kerch, the traffic police sums up the results of the preventive measure «Drunk driver»

From June 10 to June 14, employees of the State traffic inspectorate conducted preventive raids in Kerch under the code name «Drunk driver», during which traffic inspectors paid special attention to the condition of drivers driving a vehicle.

As a result of the event, the police identified 139 violations of the Rules of the road, which were committed by drivers of vehicles. Including 5 drivers drove cars while intoxicated or refused to undergo a medical examination for intoxication. All drivers are suspended from driving, and vehicles are placed in a specialized parking lot— reported in the traffic police.

Drunk driving remains the most socially dangerous phenomenon and is always in the center of attention of traffic police officers. Since the beginning of this year, traffic police have already identified more than 190 drivers in Crimea who were driving while intoxicated or refused to undergo a medical examination for intoxication, and criminal cases were initiated against 17 drivers under Art. 264.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation for repeated driving while intoxicated.
