In Kerch, strong winds knocked down over 30 trees. Dozens of accidents on power lines were recorded, but there were no emergencies or tragedies. Since the morning, utility services have been eliminating the consequences of bad weather.
Three working groups of 10 people each were created from administration employees who are engaged in dismantling branches of sawn trees, loading and removing them. There are 7 teams of sawyers, of which 3 are from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, 4 from the Municipal Services and ZhilserviceKerch. Equipment involved: 3 loaders, 6 dump trucks, 2 scrap trucks, 2 towers, 3 Gazelles and a crane. There are 8 teams of the Kerch gas management department and 10 teams of the Kerch branch of Krymteplokommunenergo.
Employees of the Kerch Distribution Zone are processing applications received from city residents. 7 teams are working to eliminate accidents on power lines, 12 units of equipment are involved. Social facilities with electricity and hospitals are provided with uninterrupted power in case of an emergency shutdown. We are keeping the situation under control. Hurricane relief efforts continuesaid the head of the Kerch administration Svyatoslav Brusakov.
Traffic is already open on Smorzhevsky, Poshivalnikov, Kirov and Komarov streets. Thanks to the prompt work of the green farm and the ZhilserviceKerch municipal unitary enterprise, the roads are cleared of trees blown down by the wind.
