In Koktebel, a new electrical substation is launched into work
Krympress reports:
The construction of the facility was carried out from September 2023 to June of this year, its cost amounted to more than 2.5 billion rubles. The substation will ensure the power supply of consumers in Koktebel and other nearby settlements. In addition, it will be frightened from it, and resort infrastructure, including a network of sewer treatment facilities under construction.
As emphasized by Sergey Aksyonov, the facility was built in accordance with the order of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin to modernize the electric grid complex of the republic.
Today in the Theodosia City District, active construction is underway at the expense of both budget and private investment. The demand for electricity among hoteliers and other entrepreneurs who want to conduct their business in this municipality is growing. Therefore, I am sure that the launch of the Yunga substation with a capacity of 50 MVA opens up new opportunities for the development of the entire district. I thank the leadership and specialists of the State Unitary Enterprise of the Republic of Crimea “Krymenergo”, as well as the contractor for timely and efficient work— said the head of Crimea.
At the same time, Sergey Aksyonov noted that the development and modernization of the electric grid in the republic remains one of the priority issues requiring a solution. So, at the expense of Krymenergo, it is planned to update another 130 substations in the municipalities of Crimea.
In the near future we will study options for allocating additional funds for replacement and other energy facilities. I ask the Crimeans to continue to write appeals through social networks on unstable voltage in networks. This helps us determine the priority and order of work. I emphasize once again that the issue of updating the electric grid is under special control— added the head of the republic.
The event was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea Igor Mikhailichenko, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea Nikolai Vorobyov, Head of the city administration of Feodosia Vladimir Kim, General Director of the State Unitary Enterprise of the Republic of Crimea “Krymenergo” Maxim Shklyarsky, others.
