In Koktebel, reconstruction of the embankment and sewerage treatment facilities is underway, implemented within the framework of the Russian state program “Socio-economic development of the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol”. This was announced by the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea, Yuri Gotsanyuk.

During the inspection visit, he inspected the progress of construction work. There are no delays from the schedule; if the current pace is maintained, the facility will be put into operation on time. According to the project, 24.3 km of distribution networks, 649 wells and 9 km of pressure networks will be laid in the village. The productivity of the WWTP is 5 thousand cubic meters per day, with future development up to 10 thousand. The length of the updated embankment will be 1.9 km, the walking area will be expanded to 30 meters, and the beach area from 35 to 50 meters.

According to the Prime Minister of Crimea, after the construction of treatment plants and reconstruction of the embankment, the situation in the village will change dramatically.
