In Koktebel there is a new exhibition project dedicated to the acquaintance of Anton Chekhov and Maximilian Voloshin
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The exhibition project is dedicated to the little-known period of Anton Chekhov’s residence at the Omyur dacha in Yalta, his famous guests and non-coincidental meetings. An example is the first personal meeting with students Maximilian Voloshin and Mikhail Svobodin. These meetings, according to recollections, were a source of new ideas, thoughts and noble deeds. The basis of the exhibition was made up of materials indicating Voloshin’s deep interest in Chekhov’s work. The exhibition presents original photographs, rare documents, publications and objects from the stock collection of the Crimean Literary and Art Memorial Museum-Reserve, which includes the A.P. Chekhov House-Museum in Yalta, — reported the press service of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Crimea.
You can visit the exhibition “Chekhov and Voloshin” until November 15 this year.
