In October, the single emergency number “112” in Crimea received more than 60,000 calls

From October 1 to October 31, 2023, 60,645 calls were received to the single emergency number “112” in Crimea. This was announced by the Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea Sergei Sadakliev. According to him, of the total number of “alarm calls” to the “Ambulance”, 8,238 calls were transferred to number “103”, to the police, to “102” — 6,764 calls, 1,660 calls were forwarded to number “101”, and to number “104” — 580, transferred to EDDS — 2,256 calls. In addition, consultation was provided 2,251 times, and 228 calls were classified as “childish pranks.”
The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea reminds that number 112 can be used to call the following operational services: fire brigade, police, ambulance, gas network emergency service, Anti-Terror.
Some examples of situations that should be reported immediately by calling 112. Such situations include: fire, the smell of gas in the entrance, on the floor or in the apartment, a traffic accident, domestic violence, a crime you witnessed, a violation of public order, urgent medical care.
