In Russia, a roadmap is being prepared for the construction of wooden high -rise buildings

The development of a roadmap according to the standards for the construction of multi -storey buildings from wooden structures is almost completed. This was told by the Deputy Minister of Construction and Housing and Public Utilities Sergey Muzychenko, speaking at a meeting of the Council on the development of the forest complex of the Russian Federation under the Council of the Federation.
According to Muzychenko, it remains to finalize the set of rules on fire safety requirements for such buildings. Now the preparation of the technical regulation on the safety of building materials is underway, the deputy minister said.
Muzychenko hopes that the set of fire safety rules, which is developed together with the Ministry of Emergencies, will be prepared in the near future. When this work is completed, all questions about the construction of wood facilities will be removed. This is allowed to build more than three floors from a tree with a house with a height of more than three floors.
Recall, in the fall of 2024, the Research Institute of Fire Defense of the Ministry of Emergencies conducted tests for the fire resistance of high-rise buildings built from cross-glue wood.
