In Russia — Week of Promotion of Healthy Eating

From December 18 to 24, Russia is celebrating Healthy Eating Promotion Week.
Maintaining a healthy, balanced diet helps avoid metabolic disorders and associated diseases. The principles of healthy eating are based on the quality of food products, their quantity and time of intake (regime points). It is important to focus not on restrictions, although they are also important (minimizing fast food, snacks, processed meat and sugar-containing drinks), but on including the necessary diet-forming foods in the diet (fish twice a week, nuts, vegetables and fruits). An important problem is the high salt consumption in Russia, especially in winter (up to 12-13 g/day), while the daily norm is 5 g/day.
