In Saki, the police detained a drunken driver: rammed the window of a cafe and someone else's car

Quickly arriving at the scene, police officers detained the driver. At the wheel there was a 34-year-old Simferopol, temporarily living in the house by the sea. As the eyewitnesses of what happened, the night before, was in a cafe, the man abused alcohol, and after his behavior became a defiant, a violent visitor was asked to leave the institution. The man confirmed the story of the witnesses, adding that he was angry with such an appeal, and he was out of revenge, sitting behind the wheel of his car, took a cafe and a car standing nearby.,-the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Crimea said.

In relation to the offender, employees of the investigation department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia “Saksky” opened a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under Part 2 of Art. 167 of the Criminal Code (intentional destruction or damage to property).

The sanction of the article provides for a punishment from a large monetary fine of up to five years in prison.

Administrative protocols were also drawn up under Part 1 of Art. 20.1 Administrative Code of the Russian Federation (petty hooliganism), under Part 1 of Art. 12.8 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation (management of a vehicle by a driver who was intoxicated), which entails the deprivation of a driver’s license for up to two years.

The offender is arrested. Its car is seized and placed on a specialized parking lot. The material damage caused to the owners of the cafe and the damaged machine is established, the check is carried out.
