In Saki, two pensioners became victims of false man. Teenagers helped scammers

Earlier, two pensioners, 71 and 83 years old, turned to the duty unit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia “Saksky”. They said that they became victims of the false man who reported that their granddaughters became the culprits of the accident and now they were facing criminal liability. To “avoid problems with the law,” scammers demanded to collect a large amount to compensate for damage to the victims. As a result, older women transferred more than 500 thousand rubles to the couriers. Schoolchildren of 15 and 14 years old, who decided to earn extra money during the summer holidays, were accomplices. As it turned out, the 15-year-old Simferopolets is not the first time participating in the fraudulent schemes of cybercriminals. They transferred personal savings of gullible pensioners on these accounts, leaving a small amount as a “salary”,-the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Republic of Crimea said.

By virtue of age, adolescents do not think about what legal actions await them, and how this will further affect their lives. These actions are qualified by Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. Criminal liability for this type of crime occurs from the age of 16. Responsibility to the law is held by parents or legal representatives of the minor!
