Mothers of many children have the right to retire early. Thus, women who have given birth to five or more children and raised them to the age of 8 are assigned an old-age insurance pension at 50 years, mothers who have given birth to four children — at 56 years, those who have given birth to three children — at 57 years.
The Sevastopol branch of the SFR assigned an early old-age insurance pension to 467 mothers with many children, 114 of whom raised three children, 51 mothers raised four children, and 302 mothers raised five or more children.
A mandatory condition for early retirement is raising children up to 8 years of age, including adopted children, as well as the absence of the fact of deprivation of parental rights or cancellation of adoption, as well as having an insurance record of at least 15 years. In addition, the value of the individual pension coefficient should be 28.2 in the current year, and starting from 2025 — 30, — the press service quotes Elena Gaivoronskaya, Manager of the Sevastopol Branch of the SFR.
The insurance period may include periods of caring for each child until they reach the age of one and a half years, but not more than six years for all children, if before or after maternity leave the mother was officially employed (regardless of the duration), and the employer paid contributions for the employee for mandatory pension insurance.
Moreover, the more children, the higher the pension coefficients. For example, one year of care for the first child is estimated at 1.8 pension coefficients. This means that for one and a half years of care, the mother will be counted as 2.7 coefficients. For the second child, one year of care is estimated at 3.6 coefficients, respectively, for 1.5 years of care, 5.4 coefficients will be counted. For the third or fourth child, one and a half years of care will already be given 8.1 coefficients, since in this case 5.4 coefficients are counted as 1 year.
It is important to remember that the calculation of pension coefficients for periods of child care is carried out according to the order of these periods of care, and not the number of children in the family.
In addition, if a mother with many children who retired early has children under 18 years of age, or under 23 years of age if studying full-time, her old-age insurance pension can be increased by establishing a fixed payment to it in an increased amount for each dependent (but not more than 3).
An application for the appointment of a pension, as well as for an increase in a fixed payment if there are dependents, can be submitted to the MFC, client services of the Sevastopol Branch of the SFR, or electronically on the government services portal.
