In Sevastopol, 6.5 thousand veterans will receive payments on Victory Day

CrimeaPRESS reports:

Veterans of Sevastopol, as well as all of Russia, will receive payments on Victory Day. In the Hero City, more than 51 million rubles will be allocated for these purposes. Funds will be received by 6,487 people.

We are talking about payments for 13 categories of veterans of the Great Patriotic War living in Sevastopol, including residents of the besieged Sevastopol equated to them. The amount of payment depends on the relevant category and will be from 7 to 50 thousand rubles, like all previous years— the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the deputy director of the department of labor and social protection of the population Alla Cordova.

In particular, 85 invalids and participants of the Great Patriotic War will receive 50,000 rubles each, and 229 former juvenile prisoners who are recognized as disabled will receive 15,000 rubles each. The remaining categories of veterans will be paid 7,000 rubles each. In addition, payments from the city budget on Victory Day are due to children of war — in Sevastopol there are more than 17.5 thousand citizens of this category. They will receive 1 thousand rubles each.

Funds will be paid to veterans in April — they will be sent without a request to bank accounts or through post offices at the place of residence.
