In Sevastopol, a 7-year-old boy left home. But there are caring people — the trouble did not happen

CrimeaPRESS reports:

At night, during a preventive raid in the city of Sevastopol, traffic police officers received information about a boy walking along the road near one of the gardening associations on the outskirts of the Nakhimovsky district.

At that time, a traffic police crew consisting of police major Andrei Fertikov and police senior lieutenant Vladimir Plakhotnik was nearby. The partners had already headed to the indicated place, when the driver of one of the oncoming cars attracted their attention, signaling with low beam headlights. Law enforcement officers stopped and learned from a local resident, Elizaveta Maksimova, who was driving, that the very child they had previously received a message about was in her car. The girl explained that she took him with her to deliver to the nearest police patrol. During the conversation, the frightened boy could not accurately explain his place of residence, however, he described the private sector, located not far from the place of his discovery. Taking the baby with them, traffic inspectors, together with a caring citizen, went in search of his relatives— announced the details of the incident in the press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for Sevastopol.

During the detour of the gardening partnership, the parents of the found child came out to meet the police officers. Frightened citizens said that their 7-year-old son quietly left a private house, using an unlocked door. Having discovered the loss, they independently went in search of him.

The couple thanked the traffic police inspectors and Elizaveta Maksimova for their help and concern. Having held a preventive conversation with citizens, law enforcement officers returned to ensuring road safety.
