In Sevastopol, a criminal case of treason and attempted terrorist attack went to trial

The prosecutor’s office of the city of Sevastopol approved an indictment in a criminal case against 30-year-old Russian citizen Igor Sudilovsky.
He is charged under Art. 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (high treason), part 3 of Art. 30, part 1 art. 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (attempt to commit a terrorist act), paragraph “c”, part 3 of Art. 222.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (illegal acquisition, storage, transportation and carrying of an explosive device, committed using information and telecommunication networks, including the Internet). According to investigators, in February 2024, the accused was brought into cooperation with the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. At the direction of an intelligence agency representative, he received a radio-controlled improvised explosive device and kept it in his home to commit a terrorist act. In March 2024, Sudilovsky installed an explosive device on a gas pipe at the entrance of an apartment building in which a serviceman of the Russian Armed Forces lives. When he appeared, he was going to detonate a homemade bomb. Sudilovsky was unable to carry out his plan, since after installing the explosive device he was detained by FSB officers,” reported the press service of the Sevastopol prosecutor’s office.
The investigation was carried out by the investigative department of the Federal Security Service of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.
The criminal case was sent to the Southern District Military Court for consideration on the merits.
