CrimeaPRESS reports:
In Sevastopol, a DIZO official is suspected of transmitting information about unclaimed land plots for a monetary reward.
The Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol has opened a criminal case against the information security administrator of the Department of Property and Land Relations of the city of Sevastopol, suspected of unauthorized access to computer information by a person using his official position (Part 3 of Article 272 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
The Investigative Department for the Leninsky District of Sevastopol has established that a specialist of the department, who has access to the State Information System for Urban Development, copied computer information protected by law for his acquaintance. For a monetary reward, the official transferred diagrams of free land plots intended for a privileged category of citizens, but not claimed by them, so that in the future the acquaintance could act as a third party to transfer them— the Investigative Committee reported.
The criminal scheme was identified and stopped by operational officers of the UFSB of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol. Investigative actions are being carried out aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the crime committed and identifying other possible facts of the defendant’s illegal activity.
