CrimeaPRESS reports:

Private security officers of the Main Directorate of the Russian Guard for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol detained a violator of public order in one of the temples of the hero city.

During the day, an “Alarm” signal was received at the centralized surveillance console of the Private Security Department from one of the churches on General Ostryakov Avenue. The security guard of the establishment approached the arrival of the detention group and explained that a few minutes ago, during a church service, an unknown man burst into the temple. He behaved extremely defiantly and aggressively, used foul language, shouted, and showed signs of alcohol intoxication. The violator ignored repeated requests from the security guard and the temple workers to calm down and stop hooliganism. — noted in the press service of the department.

Security forces detained the attacker. He turned out to be a 54-year-old local resident who had previously repeatedly come to the attention of law enforcement officers.

In his defense, the man confusedly tried to explain to the National Guard that he had allegedly lost his cross earlier in the church, and was currently making attempts to find it. However, the cross and chain were in the hands of the rowdy all the time and, realizing the failure of the version, the attacker tried to pity the parishioners and law enforcement officers with a simulated seizure of epilepsy.

The attacker was detained and taken to the police.
