The fire fighters of the Russian Emergencies Ministry in the city of Sevastopol conducted fire and tactical classes in the territory of the Church of the Holy Great Martyr Theodore Tiron.
According to legend, one of the parishioners became ill, he lost consciousness and fell, dropping a lighted candle.
Fire began to cover church decoration. He was tried to defeat the Voluntary Fire squad of the “Inexpressible Cupin”, previously created in a cult institution, but they did not cope on its own and called the Russian Emergencies Ministry to the place of firefighters.
During a fire-tactical lesson with volunteers, additional master classes were held for combat deployment, work with fire-tactical weapons, laying a trunk line, as well as work with trunks, -told the deputy head of the 1st Fire and Rescue Unit 1 SIT of the Federal PSSS of the GPS of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergencies of Russia for the city of Sevastopol Yaroslav Temnikov.
Employees of the Extraordinary Department investigated the design features of the object, received information about communications, sources of fire water supply and the capabilities of the entrance. But the main thing is practice, because firefighters have worked out the methodology for extinguishing a conditional fire in the temple and interaction with its voluntary fire friend.
We have an agreement between the Patriarchate and the Ministry of Emergencies on the interaction and the creation on the basis of temples, monasteries of voluntary fire brigades. Beautiful, it seems to me, undertaking, now we have such a squad, called a “unopened bubina”, registered as expected. Glory to the Lord, the ministry helps both uniform and training — they train our fighters. I would like that in the future on the basis of each deanery we had at least two or three squads. We strive to ensure that they ensure security not only on the basis of the temple where they are, but also on the surrounding facilities, — says Archpriest Vasily Gumarov, rector of the Church of the Holy Great Martyr Theodore Tiron, Head of the Department of the Sevastopol Deanery for Work with Armed Forces and the Ministry of Emergencies.
