Today in Sevastopol they said goodbye to the guard foreman of the second article, senior operator of the anti-tank platoon Denis Usoltsev.
Denis Vitalievich Usoltsev was born in Sevastopol into the family of a military man. He studied at school No. 9, then moved with his parents to Vilyuchinsk, Kamchatka Territory, to his father’s place of service. He graduated from school in Vilyuchinsk and then entered the Naval Institute of Radio Electronics named after A. S. Popov.
Denis Vitalievich served under a contract for about 10 years in a submarine formation in Vilyuchinsk and received good military training. In the fall of 2022, he was called up for military service as part of partial mobilization and, after training, was sent to the North Military District zone. He served in the Marine Corps in the Donetsk direction. Being a well-trained, brave, professional warrior, he fought skillfully and proactively, was wounded twice and shell-shocked twice, but returned to his unit. For the courage and courage shown in carrying out assigned tasks he was awarded the Order of Couragesaid Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev.
Denis Vitalievich Usoltsev died heroically as a result of an enemy missile attack in the Elenivka area of the Donetsk People’s Republic. Let’s remember our hero!
