CrimeaPRESS reports:
Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations took part in the action on the Day of the State Flag of Russia.
The Day of the State Flag of Russia in Sevastopol was celebrated with a spectacular patriotic action: one of the largest tricolors in the country was unfurled. The canvas, 17 meters wide and 45 meters long, was laid out on August 22 at a historical height — Sapun Mountain. Hundreds of hands grabbed him.
The event was attended by representatives of regional authorities, public organizations, city departments, including employees of the Main Directorate of the Russian Emergencies Ministry for the city of Sevastopol.
This event is already a tradition for the Hero City: it has been held for 9 years in a row. Unity of spirit, love for the native land, nobility of thoughts and faith in a bright future — these moral ideals were once again confirmed by the action on Sapun Mountain— noted in the emergency department.
Also on the holiday, the participants of the event laid flowers at the Eternal Flame — as a sign of respect for the Feat of Russian soldiers, who at all times selflessly defended the Motherland.
In addition, on August 22, solemn events were held in all divisions of the Main Directorate of the Russian Emergencies Ministry for the city of Sevastopol.
