Officers of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Balaklavsky District detained a 35-year-old local resident who committed three episodes of theft of power tools from private households on the territory of gardening associations.
It has been previously established that the intruder, taking advantage of the absence of the owners, penetrated both houses and non-residential buildings on the territory of private households by squeezing metal-plastic doors or windows. Basically, the man stole power tools, but he also could not bypass digital technology. The attacker managed to hand over part of the stolen goods to thrift stores, and decided to voluntarily hand over the rest to the police during a search at his place of residence , the press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Sevastopol reported.
The defendant was charged with committing crimes under Part 2 and Part 3 of Art. of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation — thefts committed with illegal entry into the premises and into the dwelling. Sanctions of articles provide punishment in the form of imprisonment for up to 6 years. By the decision of the court, the accused was chosen a measure of restraint in the form of a ban on certain actions.
