In Sevastopol, a man robbed his future mother-in-law. Will her daughter's partner now become her husband?
CrimeaPRESS reports:
A 54-year-old local resident contacted the Department of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Nakhimovsky district with a statement that her daughter’s partner had stolen gold items and money that belonged to her, thereby causing material damage of more than 122 thousand rubles.
It was established that a 32-year-old local resident previously convicted of property crimes met the girl, and after a short conversation the young people began to live together in her mother’s house. Since the attacker was experiencing some financial difficulties, he decided to take advantage of the absence of his beloved and future mother-in-law from home and steal valuables. After examining the owner’s room, the suspect found four pairs of gold earrings, as well as cash, which he took for himself and fled in an unknown direction. The attacker handed over the jewelry to a thrift store and spent the money on personal needs— the details of the case were announced in the press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Sevastopol.
During the operational search activities, the negligent lover was detained by employees of the criminal investigation department of the Department of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Nakhimovsky district, and the investigative department opened a criminal case against him under paragraph “c” of Part 2 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Theft”. The sanction of the article provides for up to five years in prison.
