In Sevastopol, the conflict between former lovers arose on the basis of disputes about joint education of a minor daughter.
Police officers found that a 37-year-old local resident while intoxicated at night came to the house of a 32-year-old ex-wife and began to sort things out. When a woman refused to fulfill his requirements for the upbringing of a common daughter, the suspect applied physical strength — he grabbed her neck and began to strangle, at the same time expressing threats to the murder. Frightened by her life, the woman began to call for help, after which the man left the scene. The victim immediately turned to the police, — They voiced the details of the incident in the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Sevastopol.
The district police officer of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Gagarinsky district detained the suspect. A criminal case has been instituted against the defendant under Part 1 of Art. 119 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation «Threat to murder or causing serious harm to health.» The maximum punishment under this article provides for imprisonment for up to two years.
