In Sevastopol, a man tried to pay a taxi driver… with brass knuckles
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Having spent all the money on alcohol, a 44-year-old local resident decided to pay for taxi services with metal brass knuckles.
It was established that the suspect had been drinking all night at an entertainment establishment, and when it was time to return home, he realized that he had spent all his money. However, the drunk man was not taken aback and decided to pay the taxi driver, offering him brass knuckles instead of money. The taxi driver responded with a categorical refusal to such a tempting offer, in his opinion, which greatly upset the drunken stranger and he began to more persistently persuade the carrier to make a deal. The man did not respond to the driver’s repeated requests to leave him alone and continued to make his demands, which ultimately led to a scuffle. Employees of the PPSP of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Leninsky district arrived at the scene and detained the would-be arms dealer and took him to the territorial authority for further proceedings. Based on the results of the study, it was established that the metal brass knuckles seized from the suspect belonged to the category of bladed weapons.— reported the press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Sevastopol.
Employees of the investigation department of the Department of Internal Affairs initiated a criminal case against the attacker on the grounds of a crime under Part 3 of Art. 30, part 7 art. 222 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Attempted illegal sale of bladed weapons”, he faces up to four years in prison.
