In Sevastopol, a man tried to take a meat grinder out of a store
CrimeaPRESS reports:
A 26-year-old local resident entered the store’s sales area posing as a customer and immediately headed to the counter with meat grinders. Pretending to choose a product, he took one of the boxes and waited for the store employees to lose their vigilance. After that, the criminal with the meat grinder headed for the exit. The actions of the criminal were observed by the employees of the store, since he had previously tried to steal a vacuum cleaner. Noticing that the fake buyer was not going to pay for the goods, they stopped him in time and called the police, — the details of the case were announced by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Sevastopol.
The criminal investigation officers who arrived at the scene detained the suspect. For attempted theft, the investigation department of the OMVD of Russia for the Gagarinsky District opened a criminal case against the defendant under Part 3 of Article 30, Part 1 of Article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation «Theft», he faces up to two years of imprisonment.
