A serviceman of the Black Sea Fleet died heroically, saving the lives of his colleagues while performing combat missions to ensure the grouping of Russian troops in the Mariupol direction.
According to the press service of the Southern Military District, the opening ceremony of the memorial plaque was attended by the relatives of German Gutko, representatives of local authorities, military personnel of the landing ships and the crew of the Novocherkassk large landing ship, as well as teachers and students of school No. 38.
