“In Sevastopol, a new stage is coming in the field of outdoor advertising” — Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev

Krympress reports:

Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev on March 21 at the My Business Center met with the managing partner of Vostok-Media LLC Alexei Mitryushin. The company won the auction for the placement of 317 advertising structures in Sevastopol — this is the majority of surfaces in the outdoor advertising placement scheme approved by the city government. The advertising market in Sevastopol becomes completely legal and technological, the head of the city emphasized.

The sphere of outdoor advertising finally comes out in Sevastopol from the «gray» zone and becomes completely legal. Those designs that were previously located on the streets, to put it mildly, did not comply with the laws of the civilized world. Of course, this chaos had to be transformed into the system. Last year, the Government of Sevastopol approved a scheme for the placement of advertising structures — taking into account all the current GOSTs and the rules. This scheme includes about 360 designs — about half as much as it was before. After that, an open auction took place, in which companies from Sevastopol, Crimea and other regions of Russia participated. Following the trading results, the absolute winner was the Vostok-Media company, which received the right to accommodate more than three hundred advertising structures in approved places, of which about a hundred are high-tech digital screens, -quotes the press service of the Government of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev.

The volume of payments following the results of auctions for the installation and operation of advertising structures received in the budget of Sevastopol amounted to about a billion rubles. In total, 317 structures will be installed, more than 100 of which are high -tech digital screens. Until the end of 2025, the company intends to invest more than 500 million rubles in the development of the city outdoor advertising market.

Among the key advantages of digital advertising structures, Alexei Mitryushin called the technology, the ability to quickly launch and update content, adapting it to current events and even weather conditions, as well as high coverage and the possibility of targeting for certain audiences. In addition, advertising structures are equipped with video cameras that will enhance the Safe City system operating in Sevastopol, said Alexei Mitryushin.

The main advantage that the city receives is the absolute legality of the placement of advertising structures. The second is our openness and willingness to cooperate with business. Third: we develop digital technologies to improve the quality of advertising. In Sevastopol, digital billboards, scrolls with a changeable exposure, super sites — structures of 5 by 15 meters will appear. Of course, classic billboards with static images will remain — they are most often used on the tracks. We are actively working to make Sevastopol the most technological city of Russia in the field of outdoor advertising-said the managing partner of Vostok-Media LLC.

Until May 31 of this year, the company plans to complete the installation of structures on all the locations won. Social advertising, information about national projects of Russia, about significant historical dates and city events will also be broadcast on new sites.
