In Sevastopol, a nurse robbed a helpless military pensioner

In Sevastopol, a district police officer detained a nurse who stole money savings from a ward military pensioner.
An 85-year-old local resident, a military pensioner, applied to the MIA of Russia for the Gagarinsky District. He reported that he discovered the loss of two thousand US dollars in his apartment. As a result of the measures taken, the district police officer detained the suspect — a 61-year-old visitor— told the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Sevastopol.
It was established that a resident of the Republic of Crimea was employed on a rotational basis as a nurse to a military pensioner from Sevastopol. After some time, she took advantage of free access to the personal belongings of her ward, secretly stole money from his purse and disappeared. She exchanged the stolen currency from random passers-by for rubles and partially spent it.
A criminal case was initiated against the detainee under Part 2 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Theft”), she faces up to 5 years in prison.
