In Sevastopol, a pedophile was sent to a strict regime colony. His victims were 34 children, including a daughter.

Agreeing with the position of the prosecutor of the Leninsky district of the city of Sevastopol, who supported the state prosecution in the criminal case, the court delivered a guilty verdict against a 46-year-old local resident. The convict was found guilty under paragraph «b» part 4 of Art. 132 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (other acts of a sexual nature using the helpless state of the victim, committed against a person under the age of 14), part 3 of Art. 135 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (indecent acts against a person under the age of 16 and against a person who has reached the age of 12, but under the age of 14, committed against two or more persons), paragraph «b» h 3 tbsp. 242 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (distribution of pornographic materials among minors using the Internet), paragraph “d”, part 2 of Art. 242.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (distribution of materials with pornographic images of minors using the Internet).
The court found that in the period from June 2015 to April 2021, on the social network VKontakte, under an assumed name, the man communicated with girls aged 9 to 15, including his 15-year-old daughter. Taking advantage of the age immaturity of the victims and their lack of life experience, he corresponded with them on sexual topics of a cynical nature, and also persuaded them to be photographed in the nude and send them to him. With one of the girls with whom he corresponded, the man subsequently met in person and, at the meeting, committed indecent acts against her.— reported the press service of the prosecutor’s office of Sevastopol.
In total, 34 children suffered from the actions of the accused. Information from law enforcement agencies from the bureau of special technical measures of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. The investigation of the criminal case was conducted by the investigative department for the Leninsky district of the city of Sevastopol of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.
The Leninsky District Court of the city of Sevastopol, taking into account the opinion of the public prosecutor, sentenced the attacker to imprisonment for a term of 13 years in a strict regime correctional colony with compulsory supervision and treatment by a psychiatrist on an outpatient basis at the place of serving the sentence of deprivation of liberty. In addition, he was assigned 2 years of restriction of freedom after his release from the correctional colony.
At the time of the trial, 13 victims had not yet reached the age of majority and could not defend their rights in court on their own, in connection with which the prosecutor’s office filed statements of claim in their interests to recover moral damages from the perpetrator. The court satisfied the prosecutor’s civil claims for a total of 260,000 rubles.
