In Sevastopol, a pensioner organized a fictitious registration of citizens in her one -room apartment

As a result, in two years, 9 adult citizens aged 26 to 61 were registered on a small housing. All apartments addressing the hostess acted through her friend or through persons already registered in the apartment. During the audit, it turned out that not one of the registered citizens actually lived at the specified address. The attacker admitted that she did not know about criminal liability for fictitious registration,-voiced the details of the case in the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Sevastopol.

In relation to the hostess of the apartment, the inquiry of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Nakhimovsky district opened a criminal case under Art. 322.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Fictitious registration of a citizen of the Russian Federation at the place of stay or at the place of residence in the residential premises in the Russian Federation and the fictitious registration of a foreign citizen or stateless person at the place of residence in the residential premises in the Russian Federation”. The maximum punishment under this article provides for imprisonment for up to five years.
