In Sevastopol, a Rosgvardia patrol detained a shoplifter. Hot on the trail

CrimeaPRESS reports:

Rosgvardia officers detained a criminal in Sevastopol suspected of stealing money from a store cash register.

In the afternoon, the centralized monitoring station of the Off-Departmental Security Department of the Russian National Guard received an alarm signal from a pet store located in the Nakhimovsky District of Sevastopol. The saleswoman contacted the patrol officers of the Russian National Guard who arrived at the scene of the incident. The woman told law enforcement that a few minutes ago, an unknown person had entered the store. Taking advantage of the moment when the saleswoman was distracted, the man climbed over the sales counter and secretly stole 600 rubles from the cash register. Seeing the fact of the crime, the saleswoman pressed the panic button to call the Russian National Guard and personally tried to stop the offender. A scuffle began, during which the woman managed to take the stolen money from her offender. The offender managed to escape from the scene.— the press service of the Main Directorate of the Russian National Guard for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol (city of Sevastopol) announced the details of the incident.

During the search of the adjacent territory, according to the signs reported by the seller, the suspect was detained hot on the trail by the Rosgvardia officers. The offender himself, who was apparently intoxicated, stated that he was not guilty and was perplexed as to why he was detained, since the seller had taken away the money he had stolen. The detainee turned out to be a 40-year-old guest of the hero city, who had come to earn money.

The man had previously come to the attention of law enforcement officers more than once. For further investigation, the Rosgvardia officers handed the suspect over to the police.
