In Sevastopol, a sentence in the criminal case of state treason was sentenced

Sevastopol City Court sentenced a criminal case against a 49-year-old citizen of Russia Roman Grigoryan. He is found guilty under Art. 275 of the Criminal Code (state treason).
The court established that in 2023, Grigoryan, along with his family, moved from Sevastopol to Spain. Living there, he found financial projects in the Internet mixer for the collection of funds for the purchase of emergency sea drones, unmanned aerial vehicles and armored vehicles. In the period from August 2023 to February 2024, a man transferred funds to their accounts for the targeted to provide current needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Thus, Grigoryan provided financial assistance to a foreign state in activities directed against the security of the Russian Federation,-the press service of the prosecutor’s office of Sevastopol said.
The actions of the attacker were identified by employees of the Federal Security Service of Russia in the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol. In 2024, the man returned to Sevastopol to sell his property here, and was detained on suspicion of treason.
The Sevastopol City Court, taking into account the opinion of the state prosecutor, imposed the guilty of a 12 years in prison in a penal correctional colony with a limitation of freedom for a period of 1 year and a fine of 300 thousand rubles.
