Sevastopol City Court sentenced the criminal case against Nina Tymoshenko-a 66-year-old citizen of the Russian Federation born in the Transcarpathian region and for a long time living in Sevastopol. She is found guilty under Art. 275 of the Criminal Code (state treason).
In the court, it was established that Tymoshenko in September 2022, on her own initiative, turned to the “hot line” of the GUR MOU and offered assistance to Ukraine, directed against the security of the Russian Federation. Subsequently, in October-November 2023, she gathered and transferred information about the military facilities of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation through the Internet mixer to the representative of the special services of Ukraine. She also provided him with photo and video materials with data on the location of the ships of the Black Sea Fleet. Employees of the FSB of Russia in the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol revealed this fact. Tymoshenko was detained and taken into custody,-the press service of the prosecutor’s office of Sevastopol said.
The court, taking into account the opinion of the state prosecutor of the prosecutor’s office of the city of Sevastopol, sentenced her to 16 years in prison in a penal penal colony, with a fine of 200 thousand rubles and with a limitation of freedom for a period of 1 year.
