Agreeing with the position of the state prosecutor of the prosecutor’s office of the Nakhimovsky district of Sevastopol, the court issued a conviction in a criminal case against a 70-year-old local resident.
He is found guilty of paragraph «b» of part 4 of Art. 132 of the Criminal Code (other actions of a sexual nature in relation to a person who has not reached the age of 14).
The convicted person lived in an individual residential building in the Nakhimovsky district of Sevastopol. He wolved in confidence in a neighboring 10-year-old girl, showed her flowers in his garden and, thus, lured to him. In July 2024, taking advantage of the psychological immaturity and helpless position of the child, an elderly man committed a sexual nature in relation to the victim.
The girl spoke about the incident to her mother, who turned to the police. The attacker was detained and detained. The investigation was conducted by the territorial body of the Investigative Committee.
The Nakhimovsky District Court of Sevastopol, taking into account the opinion of the state prosecutor, sentenced the guilty punishment of 12 years in prison in a maximum security penal colony. He also appointed a year of restriction of freedom after liberation from the colony.
In addition, the court granted the civil lawsuit of the district prosecutor to recover non -pecuniary damage from the convicted compensation in favor of a minor victim.
