In Sevastopol, a verdict was voiced against a man who killed his comrade and threw his body into the sea

Agreeing with the position of the state prosecutor of the prosecutor’s office of the Gagarinsky district of Sevastopol, the court issued a conviction in a criminal case against a 31-year-old resident of the Republic of Dagestan.
It is found guilty under Part 1 of Art. 105 of the Criminal Code (murder).
It was established that convicted in the evening on October 6, 2024, in the premises of the fishport in Sevastopol, drank alcohol with his 41-year-old acquaintance. At the same time, a quarrel occurred between the men, during which the accused strangled his comrade. Later that night, the attacker took the body of the murdered and threw him off the rocky shore in the area of the Blue Bay in Sevastopol.
Despite the attempts to hide the crime, the man failed to evade criminal prosecution. In connection with the disappearance of the deceased, his civil spouse appealed to law enforcement agencies. Police officers installed with whom the deceased who died that evening left the house, and where the crime occurred. The attacker was detained, gave a confession, and on October 23 the body of the murdered was found on the coast.
The investigation was conducted by the Investigative Department in the Gagarinsky district of the city of Sevastopol of the Main Directorate of the IC of Russia in the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.
Given the opinion of the state prosecutor, the punishment for the previous sentence of the court for attempting to steal and the presence of a number of mitigating circumstances, the Gagarinsky district court of Sevastopol appointed 9 years in prison in a maximum security penal colony.
