In Sevastopol, a visitor discredited the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. Now he will answer

The commentator’s statements discrediting the actions of the Russian army became available for public viewing to a wide range of Internet users. The offender used his personal account to publish comments discrediting the Russian Armed Forces. Police officers established the identity and location of the author. He turned out to be a 46-year-old native of St. Petersburg, running a business in the hero city of Sevastopol. He confessed to the crime— reported the press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Sevastopol.

An administrative protocol was drawn up against the man under Part 1 of Art. 20.3.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation “Public actions aimed at discrediting the use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in order to protect the interests of the Russian Federation and its citizens, maintain peace and security, or the execution by government bodies of the Russian Federation of their powers for these purposes.”

The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of an administrative fine in the amount of 30 to 50 thousand rubles. The materials collected by the police will be sent to the Leninsky District Court for consideration on the merits.
