In Sevastopol, a woman robbed a pensioner. Just went into the house, just stole money

A 74-year-old local resident applied to police department No. 1 “Northern” of the Department of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Nakhimovsky district in Sevastopol with a statement about the disappearance of his savings.
The pensioner said that he went out into the courtyard of his household to let the birds out of the chicken coop and left the front door to the house open. Returning back, he noticed a stranger leaving his area and called out to her. The woman replied to the owner of the house that she was looking for her friend and was already leaving. Suspecting something was wrong, the elderly man decided to check if the uninvited guest had stolen anything. His guesses were confirmed — he discovered the loss of 27 thousand rubles, which were kept in a bag. The victim immediately contacted the police— the details of the case were announced in the press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Sevastopol.
As a result of operational search activities, criminal investigation officers identified the suspect and detained her. The attacker turned out to be a previously convicted 42-year-old local resident. The police seized 11 thousand rubles from the detainee, which she did not have time to spend, and returned them to the rightful owner, and she reimbursed the rest of the stolen amount to the pensioner.
A criminal case has been initiated against the detainee under paragraph “a” of Part 3 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Theft”, she faces up to six years in prison.
