The city authorities of Sevastopol are going to allow to place huge advertising screens on the facades of buildings. The Department of Architecture has developed a draft resolution, which make amendments to the «Rules for the installation and operation of advertising structures in the city.» The only innovation is an additional graph in the list — media facades that are located on the outer surfaces of the walls of buildings, buildings and structures.
In the case of installation on the external surfaces of the walls of buildings, buildings, structures, including on the frame, the advertising structure should repeat the plastic of the facade, can overlap in fully or partially window openings, glazing, as well as the structural and decorative details of the buildings— quoted the document «Sevastopol newspaper».
The placement of media facades is not allowed on the outer walls of buildings with decorative elements. The color of the frame and the information field of the advertising structure must correspond to the main color of the facade and do not have the rear or side closing panels.
At the first over the past 10 years, the auction for outdoor advertising in Sevastopol, which took place at the end of last year, the bidders played the right to install and operate 337 advertising media. The scheme of their placement included places for installing billboards-static and with an automatic image change, LED screens, super sites, city units and city formats. There were no media facades in the scheme. And now suddenly needed.
